Sub: Foundation course to be started for your students with Vivekananda Prabodhini
Jana Seva Kendra, a charitable organization is servicing from Borivali for the last 38 years in the fields of education, medical and cultural. The Kendra was established under the chairmanship of Shri Ram Naik, then MLA and now governor of Uttar Pradesh, Shri J.V. Kamath, the secretary (former chairman of Jana Seva Bank), along with many other socially oriented dedicated workers. Our guide, mentor and inspiration is Swami Vivekananda, whose every word, thought and even sigh was echoing the love of Mother India. Numerous donations are given to schools, hospitals, social organizations, of Maharashtra, Goa, Northeast part of India which has given immense satisfaction to the trust as well as the recipients. Moving forward, Kendra has envisioned another venture of setting up a permanent project in the education field named ‘Vivekananda Prabodhini.’ The main purpose of the project is to motivate the young, intelligent, and energetic youth for rebuilding India which has forgotten the past glory. The Prabodhini will have several vehicles including Centre for Competitive Exams. To maintain high academic standard in conducting teaching learning process and to help students to succeed in different competitive exams esp. UPSC, MPSC, Banking. We also have an up to date library for UPSC and other exams related books at bare minimum membership cost.
We have designed some courses for this purpose: a one year course after graduation forUPSC, an eight month course for MPSC and six month course for Banking and other exams. We also have a unique two year ‘Foundation course’ for FY and SY students after 12th to develop their mental abilities, study skills, personality development and emotional maturity, patriotism, social obligation and also introduction to main subjects of exams. The details of this course are attached to this letter. We request you to give good publicity to this project and also help us to enrol as many students as possible from your esteemed institution. This will fulfil our common objective of giving good values, education and career to the youths and in addition we can have a good model of mutual benefit and sharing if the number is significant from your institute. TWO-YEAR FOUNDATION COURSE : INTRODUCTION
Competitive Examinations are different from the normal Examinations, which enable us get our degrees and diplomas. In addition to getting good marks, one has to outsmart others to become successful in Competitive Examinations. Hence, being successful in Competitive Examinations needs more and different skills, in addition to knowledge. This Foundation Course is especially designed to equip students with the necessary skills to become successful in Competitive Examinations, more specifically in the UPSC Civil Services Examination (IAS, IPS, IFS).
OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE
1. To help students understand their strengths and weaknesses and help them to maximise and convert their strengths and minimise their weaknesses.

ELIGIBILITY: Students studying in First or Second Year of their Degree Course are eligible to join the Course.
A ‘Foundations of foundation course’ on above theme also available for class 8, 9 , 11 students
TIMINGS OF SESSIONS: Sessions will be twice/thrice a week, preferably on week days. Clash with college / school lecture/practicals timings will be avoided.
VENUE: Suvidyalaya, Near Yoganand Society, Vazira Naka, Borivali (West). If the batch size is more than 25, course at institute premise possible with joint collaboration.
FEES: It will be Rs. 15000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) Yearly for all modules taken together.
There can be customization and tailor made versions to suit Schools, Colleges, Institutes or groups.
